Below are just some of the ways to support the fight against lung disease through the American Lung Association of Maryland:

:: Bequests
Help future generations fight lung disease with a bequest or donation in your will. Or receive tax advantages now with a variety of planned gift opportunities including charitable gift annuities and trusts that pay income to you until you no longer need it. A planned gift of any size makes you a member of our Emily Bissell Heritage Society, named in honor of our foundress. :: Vehicle Donation
Your donation of a no-longer-needed vehicle can provide you with a tax deduction while supporting the fight to prevent lung disease and promote lung health. Click here for more information.

:: Tribute Gifts
Honor the memory of a friend or relative in a meaningful way through a memorial gift, or pay special tribute to someone with a commemorative gift in honor of a birthday, anniversary, graduation, or birth. Click here to make a memorial or tribute gift online.

:: Research Endowment Campaign
Through a gift to the Research Endowment, you can help ensure the future of research in Maryland. With the support of the Maryland Thoracic Society, this $1.7 million fund provides income for special pulmonary research projects. Gifts to the endowment are income-producing while the principal remains untouched. Click here to donate online.

:: Special Gifts
A contribution of any size can be earmarked for a particular area of Lung Association work from asthma programs to tobacco control to research to air quality. Click here to donate online.

:: Christmas Seals
Donate to the Christmas Seals campaign and spruce up your cards and packages with the decorative stamps, a tradition for over 90 years. :: Events
Throughout the state, events including bike tours, asthma walks, and a casino night help raise awareness of the need to fight lung disease, as well as providing funds to fuel the fight. :: Matching Gifts
$100 + matching gift = $200 for American Lung Association of Maryland!
Double Your Money! Matching Gifts are an excellent way to invite your employer to support your charitable interests. Ask your employer if they have a matching gift program.

:: Worksite Giving
Whether your workplace participates in the United Way campaign, another federated appeal, or has an in-house program, you can designate your support to the American Lung Association. We are a member of Community Health Charities.

:: Donations of Appreciated Assets
